Dealership Entombs Willys Jeep

Throughout World War II, the Willys Jeep acquired hero status with helping America and its allies defeat the Nazis one mud hole at a time. It was more than 70 years ago that the off-roader cemented its standing in American history. The Jeep legacy continues to this day, and it is one that has been unbelievably successful.

To honor that tradition of excellence and toughness, one mint vintage Willys Jeep has gone above and beyond the call of duty once again by being entombed as the cornerstone of a Canadian Jeep dealership. Bay King Chrysler just happened to have a spare Willys Jeep as a display model for its customers, and originally planned on building a jungle gym around the iconic vehicle for kids to play on.

However, the head of the dealership was talking with his brother about a house they saw with a glass floor overlooking a wine cellar. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Jeep can now be seen as customers walk into the dealership, and it will be on display for the foreseeable future. It’s perhaps one of the most unique ways of preserving the history of a brand, and it goes to show that even after 70-plus years, Jeep is still going strong.
