“Governator” Wagoneer Is One Bad-Ass Jeep
I have to say, when I first stumbled on this eBay find, a custom ’84 Jeep Wagoneer once owned by Arnold Schwarzenegger, my first thought was that it must have been one he just drove in a movie, not one he actually owned. However, after sifting through more of the information on the Jeep, I realized that it really was the action star’s own ride, and it was a perfect fit.
Made by West Coast Customs specifically for Schwarzenegger when he was Governor, the Jeep features a custom 6.6 litre Duramax Diesel engine with 500 horsepower, an Allison Automatic transmission, and a custom intercooler.
The menacing Black Wagoneer, perfectly named the “Governator,” is also packed with a number of unique details inside, like two-tone custom leather, a DVD player, and California’s State Seal engraved on the centerpiece of the steering wheel.
In addition, the floor mats in the Jeep bear the words of some of Schwarzenegger’s most famous one-liners — like “I’ll Be Back” and “I lied” — that have become a phenomenon in their own right.
The Wagoneer is priced at $85,000, and also comes with a folder containing copies of the Schwarzenegger title, along with photos of the former Governor with the vehicle, as highlighted in the eBay listing here.
