Halloween Hyper Green Renegade Ad Is… Well, We’re Not Sure

Not ready to let go of Halloween yet? Well, take a minute and get one last dose of it with a Jeep Renegade dodging a few zombies to close out this year’s Halloween celebrations.

The video below was done for Jeep U.K. and features James McVey from the British band The Vamps and promotes the Renegade painted in a bright new hue, Hyper Green.

Brace yourself, because this one-minute Jeep ride gets pretty scary. Just kidding, actually the entire thing is pretty comical, especially at the end when the Renegade rolls away with a rear shot of the license plate that reads, “Bite Me.”

As a matter of fact, based on all four of the comments the Renegade video has garnered since it was first posted to YouTube on October 29, it appears that it was a big miss. One that struck us as particularly interesting sums the spot up like this: “The only thing worse than the styling of the new Jeep is this.”

Ouch.
