If you’ve got a small infant, odds are good that you didn’t buy a two-door Jeep Wrangler thinking you just landed the perfect family vehicle.

Well, at least you’re shouldn’t, according to a recent Cars.com report.

The two-door Wrangler scored a “D” in the consumer source’s Car Seat Check report. But it also pulled off some pretty impressive grades in some other areas when it comes to car seats for kids. For example, the Wrangler scored “A” grades for Latch and Forward-Facing Convertible seating, and a “B” for Booster seats. But the Jeep scored a “C” grade for child seats as a Rear-Face Convertible.

The fact is, the two-door Wrangler was never intended to be a go-to vehicle for those with smaller kids. Jeep has definitely made some strides in that area, but if you really need a more family-oriented Jeep, there are a few other models in the line-up that would better suit your needs.
