If you’re looking for a great upgrade for a far more superior lift height adjustment, ICON has heard you! They have just released their 4.5- to 6-inch Coilover Conversion System for 2007 and up Jeep Wrangler JK applications. Here is a brief look into this system from ICON.

ICON starts out with their 2.0 Coilover Shocks with remote reservoirs in both stages, but Stage II offers their CDC (Compression Damping Control) Valve for perfect compression tuning for the right feel for driving on and off road.

Both kits also come with fabricated front coilover towers and lower shock mounts, one-piece fabricated rear subframe and lower mounts, adjustable front and rear track bars built with FK Rod Ends and fabricated brackets, upgraded steering drag link, extended sway bar links, bumpstop spacers, stainless steel braided brake lines, front and rear upper control arm links, front and rear lower control arm links, and hardware.

Thanks to the ease of ride height adjustability, you can fit 35- to 37-inch tall tires with only some minor trimming. And the bolt-on design allows you to go back to factory, for you lease drivers. All components except for the coil overs feature a lifetime warranty from ICON, while the shocks feature a one-year warranty against defects.

For 2012 and up models, you’ll also need an exhaust extension kit. And with all large lifts like this, you will also need new driveshafts. You can use OE wheels and tires, but if you run aftermarket wheels, they will need at least a 4.75-inch backspacing. If you run your OE wheels with larger tires, you will need a spacer to move them out for those tires.
