There appears to be no decline in sight for Jeep. In what is already shaping up to be one hell of a sales year, the brand posted a sales increase of 49 percent – Jeep’s best-ever August sales month and the second best sales month so far this year.
Leading the charge were the all-new Jeep Cherokee and the Jeep Patriot, which both posted their best monthly sales ever. The Patriot saw a 27-percent sales spike — the largest-percentage year-over-year sales increase of any Jeep model in August. The new Jeep Cherokee posted its best sales month since its October launch.
The Wrangler pulled in its best-ever sales for the month of August with 17,988 units sold — second only to the model’s all-time-record-setting May sales this year. Grand Cherokee posted its best sales for August since 2003 with a four-percent increase, which all is just further proof that when it comes to a sure thing, nothing beats Jeep.
