Jeep Brand Just Keeps Getting Stronger

2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

There appears to be no decline in sight for Jeep. In what is already shaping up to be one hell of a sales year, the brand posted a sales increase of 49 percent — Jeep’s best-ever August sales month and the second best sales month so far this year.

Leading the charge were the all-new Jeep Cherokee and the Jeep Patriot, which both posted their best monthly sales ever. The Patriot saw a 27-percent sales spike — the largest-percentage year-over-year sales increase of any Jeep model in August. The new Jeep Cherokee posted its best sales month since its October launch.

The Wrangler pulled in its best-ever sales for the month of August with 17,988 units sold — second only to the model’s all-time-record-setting May sales this year. Grand Cherokee posted its best sales for August since 2003 with a four-percent increase, which all is just further proof that when it comes to a sure thing, nothing beats Jeep.
