Jeep CJ 5 Renegade Nabs Starring Role in 'Forza Horizon 3'

Here’s an unexpected twist for gaming fans who are used to having a slew of high-performance cars to pick from for those virtual driving games.

Among six car packs introduced by the Forza Horizon 3 team, “The Smoking Tire Pack” includes a Jeep CJ5 Renegade. That’s quite a shift from some of the new vehicles introduced, which include an Aston Martin Vulcan, a Pagani Huayra BC, a GTA Spano, a Lotus 340R, and a BMW M2, as highlighted in an Autoblog report.

Pretty wild, right?

Then again, given the fact that Australia is one of the locations for the FH3 gaming world, the CJ 5 Renegade seems like the perfect pick. Especially if you happen to veer off into some of that wide-open terrain in the Land Down Under.

There’s also the idea that it’s about time more classic Jeeps start getting their due respect in the gaming world.
