Jeep Owner Uses Leaking Radiator to Track Stolen Jeep

Hard to imagine any Jeep owner smiling from ear to ear for having a leaking radiator.

And yet, I’m betting that this Albuquerque man still finds it hard to contain his excitement over his Jeep’s much needed fix. That’s because the owner, Joshua Lawrence, after giving up on the way police were handling the investigation, used a trail of radiator fluid left from his stolen Jeep to locate the vehicle.

“The cops came over here, they had no desire to go over and investigate. I gave them all kinds of leads of what I would do if I had their job. They don’t care,” Lawrence told KRQE News 13.

After deciding to take the matters into his own hands, Lawrence followed the radiator fluid and tracked down the Jeep abandoned around the corner from his home where he had been working on repairing the faulty radiator.
