The Rock Bouncer Show Lives up to Its Name in Puerto Rico, With Jeeps From All Over the Country Taking Part

Peurto Rico was home to the 2016 Rock Bouncer show, hosted by Waldy’s Off Road and Southern Rock Racing Series. One of the event’s main attractions was an obstacle course at the Rio Drag Park. Jeeps of all sort participated in the course, which featured bogs, boulders, thick mud, and jumps.

If you remember that Durango blasting down the course during a Tough Truck event, then you’ll love watching these Jeeps. Tight course design means the smaller rigs have an advantage, though there’s some awesome turbo 2JZ action too.

A Cherokee won overall, but it wasn’t turbocharged. Engine power was increased through spray, with two big bottles of Nitrous taking the place of a passenger seat. That winning combination starts at about 6:40 into the video above. Small and nimble is another quick combo, with a little quad setting a blistering pace with its little four-stroke engine happily thumping its way through the mud.

How quick were these Jeeps? We wish we could tell you, but we couldn’t find any times. If you’re looking to watch some solid off-road action though, this video is a good way to spend 15 minutes.
