Jeep Parade

You typically don’t think of Jeeps breaking records at the Daytona International Speedway, but that’s exactly what happened this past Sunday.

A total of 1,846 Jeeps rolled into Daytona Beach on April 26, breaking a previous Jeep parade Guinness World Record of 1,106, according to a Daytona Beach News-Journal story.

The parade is part of Jeep Beach, which wrapped up its 12th year this past Sunday. The event has quickly become one of the biggest Jeep gatherings of its kind in the world.

In fact, Jeep owners came as far as from Alaska to attend the event, which included a vast range of the SUVs from some of the more traditional mods to the wild and bizarre, with most of the vehicles being Wranglers. Even Jeep officials were on hand showing off some of the Jeep concepts that have been making the rounds on the Jeep circuit.
