KC HiLiTES 5-Watt Cyclone and Amber C-Series LED Lights

Need a brighter light under the hood of your JK Wrangler? KC HiLiTES has a solution for you with their new 5-Watt Cyclone LED Light. The Cyclone is a 2.2-inch-diameter light that has a very thin, .53-inch profile that allows it to be mounted nearly anywhere in its universal packaging. Despite using only five watts of power, the 12 LEDs are rated for 1,100 lumens of output, which is roughly the equivalent brightness of a 75-watt light bulb. It’s also IP68 rated for dust, and waterproof, making it perfect for off-road use, and anywhere that can see lots of hard outdoor time.

KC has created a JK under-hood-specific version to make it easy to install a single version. The Cyclone comes in clear, diffused, amber, red, blue, or green versions, while the JK under-hood light comes in clear only. The Cyclone LED lights are to be used in six- to 16-volt applications only.

Also coming out from KC HiLiTES are the amber versions of the C-Series LED lights. They offer a stealth look with the lights off as they appear clear; however, the moment you turn them on, they shine to a bright amber color. Amber light offers several advantages while driving off-road: it’s less bothersome than blue-white light, which reflects glare off of dust while driving at night. Amber light also helps crews identify their race vehicles as they come in for repairs, and for some people, it’s simply an aesthetic statement.

The Amber C-Series is available in the C3 Compact four-LED; 10-inch, double-row C10, and the 20-inch, double-row LED C20.
