People are still raving about those Jeep concepts displayed this year at the Moab Jeep Easter Safari. But the question that many have been asking is if any of the concepts might hint at some of the features found in the next-gen Wrangler.

Of course, a lot of the mods are offered as custom features for Jeep’s current lineup. That’s always been one of the points in the Jeep and Mopar collaboration for the big bash in Utah. And yet, this year’s lineup of concepts could also be an indication of a few features that could make it into the next Wrangler, as highlighted in a Four Wheeler report.

Now, before everyone starts getting excited about the possibility of Jeep building a production model of the 707-horsepower Wrangler Trailcat, know that’s probably not going to happen. But there could be a few other things to look forward to.

Some of the most interesting possibilities cited by Four Wheeler include a chopped and swept-back windshield, as shown on the Trailcat concept. Or perhaps the huge military-inspired recovery points and spring hood latches as featured on the Crew Chief. The industry source quoted in the story also speculates that the larger wheel openings featured on the Trailstorm concept could make it into the next-gen Wrangler.

What do you think, do these sound like some pretty cool changes?
