Mopar “Teases” SEMA Jeeps

Whoever said a picture is worth a thousand words probably never had to deal with the kind of image teases we get from carmakers today. Is it me, or are these things just getting more obscure every day?

“Sneak peek” is right as the images are described in the cut-lines. About the only thing I can make out of these recent images released by Mopar of some modified Jeeps they’ll showcase at SEMA is that someone put in a lot of effort to make sure we couldn’t figure out anything about the SUVs.

I guess the cut-lines for the images do provide some sense of what to expect. The very top image is a tease for the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Frostbite, which I suspect will have some youthful winter sport theme. The second photo is of a Jeep called the Renegade Limited Rip Tide that I imagine has some kind of surfing theme.

Still, a few more details would be nice, but I guess we’ll see them soon enough considering we’re only a few weeks from the SEMA show’s Nov. 4 opening.
