There you have it, folks. The only thing left for Jeep to do now is to get that order bank up and running.

The brand’s head honcho, Mike Manley, has not only confirmed that the highly-anticipated Hellcat-inspired Grand Cherokee is a done deal, but he also made it known that the raging beast will officially be called the Trackhawk and will roar into dealerships next summer, according to Automobile.

The Jeep CEO didn’t’ get into any specific performance details on the upcoming Trackhawk, which is expected to pack the same muscle that comes in the 707-horsepower Challenger and Charger Hellcats.

One bit of interesting news, however, is that seems that the Trackhawk won’t actually replace the existing Grand Cherokee SRT, but rather sit above it as King of the Throne. If that’s the case, we look for the SRT model to get a few nifty updates as well.

Either way, this recent news should send those high-performance Porsche and Range Rover SUV owners running for cover. Well, that is if they aren’t in hiding already.
