Remember, Jeeps Are Only as Smart as Their Drivers
Let me just say this: there’s nothing a Wrangler or any other Jeep can do to save you from an idiot move.
Absolutely nothing … even with all of its amazing capabilities.
However, apparently no one bothered to tell a guy in Kingsport, TN who left a roadway to try driving his 2006 Wrangler on an embankment in slush along the Hudson River, according to a Times News report. Local police said the 32-year-old was lucky he wasn’t injured and said the incident “should serve as a warning to all off-road enthusiasts.”
Personally, I think the incident is better served as a warning to people who overestimate their driving capabilities whether off-road or on.
