Where Not to Off-Road Your Jeep

Just as much as Ferraris are meant for going fast, and Facebook is meant for bragging, Jeeps are meant for going off-road; however, there are some limitations to the definition of “off-road” … even for Jeeps. The photo above illustrates one of those limitations.

Early Wednesday morning in the Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, police discovered a red Jeep Liberty wedged between a light pole and a sound wall. The driver was absent from the scene when authorities arrived.

Fearing the light pole could have fallen into traffic while crews extracted the Jeep, police shut down the eastbound side of Interstate 70 for about 90 minutes.

According to KUSA-TV, the cause of the crash is under investigation.
