Jeep Puts Hold on Shipping Some Renegades
It appears FCA has put a hold on shipping some of the subcompact Jeeps, in order to fix a software issue.
After getting confirmation a few months ago that Jeep is revving up to introduce a new Grand Wagoneer by 2018, we’re now learning that the brand is also vying for a piece of the higher-end luxury SUV market.
On the heels of a February recall on 228,181 Cherokees, Jeep has announced another recall on roughly 62,148 Cherokees from the 2014 and 2015 model years for the same problem.
A number of people who bought the new Jeep Renegade, which is being built in Italy and Brazil, have cited issues with the underbody of the vehicle.
