Thieves’ Attempt to Steal ATM with Jeep Rivals “Dumb and Dumber To”
I have to hand it to these morons who had the “bright idea” of backing their Jeep Grand Cherokee into a store to steal an ATM. They certainly give the movie “Dumb and Dumber To” a run for its money.
The fiasco (yup, I said fiasco, not caper, and you’ll see why soon) was all caught by a surveillance camera and has already earned one of the alleged suspects a starring role inside a Florida jail, in addition to a seat in JK-Forum’s Idiots Row.
The most entertaining part of the following video comes at about the 1:14 mark when Idiot One discovers what Idiot Two figured out a few seconds earlier but forgot to share: The damage to the SUV from backing it into the store has now jammed the rear hatch.
That means this pair of bumbling thieves now has to spend another 30 seconds trying to figure out another way to get the ATM inside the Jeep.
Given the “brilliance” of this plan, I estimate the other dummy will be on the run for a couple of days – tops – before he joins his co-star and the two prepare for their next big roles, in which they’ll await sentencing. The duo will more than likely perform in a Florida courtroom before a judge.
