There is somewhat of a misunderstanding with outsiders of the Jeep community. There are many people who think a Wrangler is just a set of wheels, seats and an engine. That’s obviously not the case. And though I’m sure the number here is low, for those of you who need help programming your JK — yes, PROGRAMMING — we have you covered.

It’s a safe bet that the general public sees the above photo, and that’s what they think of when picturing a Wrangler. In reality, it doesn’t matter what you drive, most of us out there likely had to really figure out how to program something in the vehicle, from the keyless entry settings to the cruise control. Some items are common sense to program, and for some you’ll be pulling out the owner’s manual. Of course, there are a few folks who simply refuse to ask or look for help; you’ll figure it out on your own or you won’t use it, am I right? For the rest of us, we’ll give you this week’s How-To Tuesday article.

So at this point, you really have no excuse left. If you go out each morning and you’re annoyed by looking at a blinking light, or if you are getting frustrated at an incessant chime, now is your opportunity to overcome these issues.  Follow the link, and get your JK programmed to do what you want.
