2015 Jeep® Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition

While some may believe this not to be true, the Jeep Wrangler does require regular maintenance. It doesn’t simply take care of itself while sitting in your garage, even though that would be awesome. There is a maintenance schedule that needs to be upheld on the JK, and all Jeeps for that matter.

This week’s How-To Tuesday article goes into depth to provide us with some additional information on the JK. While it may be likely that you already know everything there is to know about your beloved Wrangler, let’s assume this week that you don’t have all the facts memorized. And there just may be some newbies out there that have stepped freshly into the JK world and need to be brought up to speed.

The Jeep has a long and storied history, but the maintenance schedule has remained fairly unchanged for quite some time. This week’s article tells you the various action items and time schedules for some of the routine engine components. From the spark plugs to an entire fluid swap on your car, keeping up on the regular items will help you maintain the working and functioning parts of your Jeep for a long time to come.

Another part of the article are some facts on the Jeep, such as the stock curb weight of the various trim packages and recommendation parts that you would be wise to keep on hand. While some Jeeps (sadly) may never see anything other than a controlled paved road, others are going to look for the road less traveled. Each driving option will require different maintenance schedules and timing requirements for your Jeep.

From heavy off-road tests of strength to turning the Jeep over to your teenager, proper maintenance is required for ownership. Start with this week’s article and you won’t regret it.
