Here’s a powerful spin on a Wrangler that’s sure to grab some attention.

This Taggart Autosport Jeep features a number of custom mods. But it was the Wrangler’s turbocharged 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, capable of 550 horsepower, that stopped me dead in my tracks when I stumbled on the SUV’s profile on DuPont Registry.

The Taggart Jeep, touted as the most powerful, stylish, and capable off-road-ready Wrangler on the market, is equipped with Teraflex 2.5 inch LiftWheels, Metalcloak JK Full Overline Body Armor and Bumpers, and a Rugged Ridge Aluminum Hood Catch Kit, just to name a few of the features beefing up this monster.

Priced at $67,600, the interior features include front and rear custom leather seats, a Raxiom touch-screen head unit, back-up camera, Bluetooth, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system.

The Jeep’s turbocharger is a 70 mm Garrett T4 that has been conservatively tuned for 360 HP. Those other 200 or so horses are being held on reserve, just waiting for the right owner.
