Listen to the Jeep Wrangler Trailcat Roar
There’s little doubt that one of the most buzzed about 2016 Easter Jeep Safari concepts is the 707-horsepower Trailcat — for a number of reasons.
One is that Jeep fans have been anticipating the idea of a Hellcat variant for months now, as covered in JK Forum’s full report on all seven Moab Jeep concepts. The second reason is that despite the appeal of a 707-horsepower Wrangler, the idea does seems a little bit incomprehensible, given the vehicle’s heritage for climbing trails rather than racing on the track.
However, this Jalopnik video clip below, which captures the Jeep Trailcat concept starting up, certainly brings the idea to life. Hearing that 707-horsepower Wrangler roar also makes the idea of a Hellcat production Jeep that much more appealing.
Of course, an actual production model will almost surely take the form of a Grand Cherokee, whenever it does debut. But that doesn’t take away from the excitement of hearing this 707-horsepower Jeep start up.
