How’s this for a monster Jeep?

Dubbed “Hot Stuff,” the mega fire-engine-red Jeep is actually a rebuild of a vehicle once considered the world’s largest Jeep, as highlighted in a Yakima Herald report. Both the reincarnated version and the first take on the SUV were built by Jeff Bainter of Yakima, Washington, who used the 600-horsepower Jeep to launch his monster truck racing career in the late ‘80s before eventually selling the vehicle.

Fast forward to 2016, and Bainter is back living the dream, driving the rebuilt model of “Hot Stuff.” But it’s sharing the Jeep with others that really gives joy to the semi-retired racer. For example, during a recent fundraiser for pediatric patients in Washington, Bainter gave 1,200 people a ride in the Jeep.

“It is truly the fans that are the biggest sponsor who have given me a job through the years,” he told the Yakima Herald. “The paycheck really comes from the fans who pay to see this entertainment.”
