Haters Think New Ford Bronco Could “Kill Off” Wrangler
Don’t you just love how Wrangler haters give us reasons to love the JK even more? It’s almost as if deep inside they really have a thing for the SUV, but try to convince themselves otherwise. That or maybe they just get so wrapped up in trying to sell themselves on hating that they completely lose sight of how absurd they sound.
Take for example, this story we stumbled on at Autoomobile titled, “Ford Bronco Could Kill Off The Jeep Wrangler”. Uh, really?
Even sadder than that headline though, the Autoomobile writer never tries to explain exactly how the Bronco could lead to the demise of the Wrangler. Most of the story is centered on a four-year contract between Ford and the UAW that suggests the carmaker might just be planning to bring back the shelved Bronco.
The writer does goes on to talk about the popularity of SUVS in general, while stating that the new Bronco might be positioned as competitor with the Wrangler. But the article never delves into the idea of HOW the Ford SUV could kill off the Jeep. Not one sentence. Oh well, it’s certainly a catchy headline, don’t you think?
