Wrangler Struggles to Climb Out of Cul-De-Sac?

One Man’s Issues With an Icy Cul-De-Sac Prompt Blunt Tips for Winter Jeep Driving

Wintertime is a great time to have a Jeep. Well, at least it should be, right?

Apparently, that all depends on the task at hand, as illustrated in the Facebook video below, posted by the guys at Cool Exotic Rides. The 56-second clip shows a heavily-modified Wrangler Unlimited struggling to make it out of his cul-de-sac. Sadly, the video shows the Jeep failing to make it out of the cul-de-sac not once, but twice.

The trouble is, even with all those off-road mods on the Jeep, it still isn’t equipped to battle a slight incline when the street is layered with ice. Then again, not much is, if you think about it. Even those big semi-trucks often have to wrap their tires with chains in order to climb icy hills.

To add insult to injury, a viewer by the name of Samuel Issac Fraser has a few suggestions that the Wrangler owner might want to consider, if faced with the situation again.

1. “First of all who the f*** uses mud tires in the winter?”

2. “Second of all, WHERE IS THE DIFF LOCK?”

3. “And stop spinning your g** damn tires!”

Clearly, Mr. Fraser’s delivery and choice of words might be a little rough. But he makes some interesting points.

So far, the video has garnered more than 2.2 million views and over 20,000 shares since being posted last month.

Yep, it appears that a Wrangler caught in any tough a predicament is big news in the world of social media. If you think about it, though, we guess that actually speaks to the great rep the Jeep has built over the years as the most capable SUV on the planet.

When you try to leave for work, but it seems work might have to come to you instead 😁😀
