Xzibit Modifies His Wrangler Rubicon Correctly
When you think of celebrities and their cars, you wouldn’t be wrong to think of garish, blacked-out SUVs with giant rims, and enough coke in them to topple Nicaragua. This is especially true in the rap world. Rappers tend to buy Escalades and Range Rovers with giant 26-inch rims that essentially rob the SUVs of any off-road ability. However, it seems one former rap star is attempting to buck the trend.
As you can see here, this brand-new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is anything but the normal celebrity SUV. It has knobby tires, proper steel bumpers, and a winch. It has a winch, people! This specific Wrangler is currently owned by none other than former Pimp My Ride host, Xzibit. The former rap star bought the Wrangler Rubicon a few months ago, and then ferried it off to his Pimp My Ride friends at West Coast Customs.
There, the Wrangler received, as mentioned above, a new set of rims and tires, new bumpers, and a few other cosmetic changes. But that was only stage one according to Xzibit. The Wrangler then received a new lift, some interior changes, and a set of custom headlights. Hopefully this Wrangler won’t be subjected to just the concrete jungle of Los Angeles, and we’ll see it running around getting dirty on some of the trails in Southern California. At least one can hope.
