A good business mentor of mine through high school + college was a Vietnam Vet. One of the best guys I got to ever know and work for. Gave it to you straight, didn't take sh*t, but at the same time was a very fair guy. Died from lung cancer but didn't have the heart to break the news to even his wife until it was close to the end and he could no longer hide it.
