those are nice,the cactus and joshua trees don't change much out here from season to season

i find it odd people drive to look at this... I just look out my window at home..

Yeah, i know, i have the same reaction to all the tourists that come here to watch water and gravity mix.

No big deal, it's right over there -->

See it nearly every day.

funny, the last time I was up there we didnt see the water (we stayed at the hotel across the street) we just drank...

while I agree it's no big deal to us, some people never see. Hell I've encountered some buses that come to New England because they say no place has the amount and the color changes that's here. Now I don't overly believe that but hell it's a few miles down the road from me so it's a 4minute drive for a good view.

I agree, it's just funny what we take for granted.

Years ago, i knew someone who came here (the falls) from Saskatchewan and literally just sat in tears at all the green and hills....





I had a similar reaction to NorthDakota in january, but it wasnt happy tears as I recall.

It is beautiful at the Quabbin, Did you go to the tower? My kids love it there. Nice jeep
