My only recommendation is to leave the doors and hard top at home. Much rather bang a cheap soft top/tube doors against a tree than the expensive factory stuff. Some of the squeezes are pretty tight. I'll bet there are a lot of places the CJ6 had the advantage.

Three days won't give time to enjoy being there, I won't do it that fast in my rig. I've done it riding with people, it's all pick up camp, drive, repair, set up camp, cook, go to bed, repeat. But then I've done some 8-11 day trips on the trail too.
