Any interest in starting a combat veterans 4WD club?
I'm planning on starting a club just for combat veterans. After being misunderstood and harassed over the difficulties I now have due to my service, in a local club. I've been encouraged by many to start a club that is a safe place for veterans, with people that understand each other. Let me know f you are interested.

Thanks for posting, thanks for the support. To qualify myself, I did a year in Iraq 04-05. I was transportation, .50 gunner, stationed at Taji. I earned the Combat Action Badge. What is your home state?

Why don't you just join this one? - Military Jeepers - U.S. Military Servicemembers and Veterans who own Jeeps

I am new to JK Forum, but sometimes it takes a Veteran to understand a Veteran.
I am a Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom Veteran
US Army 02/1988-02/1996
US Army Reserves 03/1996-09/2006
I also have a Combat Action Badge from my last deployment in 2006.
70% service connected for PTSD and 30% other stuff = total 80%(VA math)
I a not too far from you, I am in Bakersfield, CA

I didn't go to Desert Storm because of a head injury from a vehicle roll over, my unit went.
I did two years regular Army, 85-87.
Army National Guard, 87-07. Transportation.
Deployed to Iraq, 5 Feb 04 to 29 Jan 05. Stationed at Taji.
Awarded Combat Action Badge.
50% PTSD, 40% Traumatic Brain Injury, I don't remember the numbers from the other stuff. VA rating is 90%.
No, Bakersfield isn't too far. Are you interested in trails like Dusy Ershim, Swamp, etc?
