Editing posts was very handy in a build thread, or to update pics and url's. Any way to get that feature back?

While you're waiting for an answer...

How far back can you edit posts? It used to be unlimited.

Appears to be about 7 days. I like unlimited.

No idea they changed. 7 days is better then 1 on our forum. Agree, build threads should stay open.

Post up a link to the thread you are trying to edit so that I can see what is going on.

Tried looking at my recent posts, about 7 days was as far back as I could edit.

Hey guys,

Happy New! It is set for 7 days currently and we will take a look this week at the time limit.

I wouldn't mind fixing the broken picture links for this write-up I did a long time ago. I still get an occasional PM about it, and I see it referenced on other forums from time to time.

Hi,

Thank you for offering to update the thread. Please let me know when you are ready and I'll temporarily remove the limit.

What's the thinking on going back to allowing changes for unlimited time? Why the change in the first place?
