Parkong brake lever
Second time my parking brake broke.
First was the cable. Now it was the spring.
Anyone near San Antonio have the parking brake assembly where the cable broke and spring and unit still good?
I can add my cable and retention it and set it.
Don't feel like wasting $$ again!!
Already replacing my clock spring for the 3rd time

I don't have an extra one, but I recently did this replacement. Lever assembly was $65 & cables were $25 each (at dealership). If you are replacing the cables make sure you check your current cables where they attach to the brake drum... there are two different versions on the JKs... one has a spring on the cable and one does not - ensure you get the right ones.
Also, read the hints on removing your center console - the transfer case knob is just a push on... what I did was wrap the transfer case shift lever in a shop towel just below the knob, then picked a crescent wrench that barely fit around the shaft and with a rubber mallet tap the underside of the wrench until the knob pops off.
Good Luck
