Quick Vacation Time Ideas, From Florida
I am off all next week. I'd like to go see some stuff, trails, mountains, anything besides the flat ass boring ass land we have here in Orlando, FL. I am willing to travel, spend a few bucks, whatever... I've only two requirements:
1. My dog comes with me, so I need dog friendly places.
2. My gun comes with me, I have a concealed permit, will only travel to states with reciprocity.
I will be going solo, so would prefer nothing too technically crazy Jeep wise. I have plenty of lights, equipment, a winch, etc...

Uwharrie state park, off road camping OBX 4x4 beach house rental, very dog friendly there. Go hang gliding, surf fishing, and kayaking
Rausch Creek off-road park in PA, camp and rock crawl.

Rausch Creek in PA! It easy to find and ranges from easy to CRAZY and everything in between. Plus plenty of other stuff local to see and do. It is dog friendly and you can camp there or a local camp ground 10 minutes away or even hotels 10 minutes away as well. There are always people there that would let you join their group to wheel... If you can enjoy it there you might as well sell the jeep!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I am leaving tomorrow morning and heading north. I think I will hit Uwharrie State Park first, and depending on how it goes there I may head west to Windrock Park in TN. I've got family in Ashville NC, so might stop by and say hello in between.

i vote Uwharrie. One of the best on the east coast. You could try Carolina adventure world, in SC.
