Tough Mudder

I did the Tough Mudder on Mt. Snow in VT in May 2012. Had a blast! I learned that diving into a 50 degree lake and immediately climbing up a 45 degree hill causes my quads to cramp...lol.

I did the Warrior Dash with my wife up by the speedway here in North Texas a couple of years ago. It was easy.
Now the TOugh Mudder? I won't do. My wife did it and it honestly is Tough. She's run marathons and she found the Tough Mudder more difficult.

Bump this up. I'm thinking about doing a obstacle course in November at a ski resort which puts you in the water 3 times.
Any advice on what to wear for the extreme temps?

I did Tough Mudder SoCal day two at Snow Valley a couple years ago.
Wore shorts and a long sleeved tech tee.
It was 32 degrees at the start, and at the top of the mountain some say it was about 10 degrees with 30-40 mile an hour winds. Everything was frozen over. It actually started snowing at one point. The day before people were getting sunburned and were warm. It was a crazy change of weather.
I can honestly say that was the most miserable time of my life. I have never been so cold.
With that said, I wish I would have worn a wetsuit that day.
If the weather is warmer, you will be fine in tight fittings shorts and a shirt. All quick drying fabrics.
