M101A1 Military 3/4 Ton Cargo Trailer For Sale - Louisiana
M101A1 Military 3/4 Ton Cargo Trailer
This trailer is in great condition with minimal rust for it's age. It is surprisingly light weight, (one person can lift the tongue and push it around). The 6x9 pick-up size bed makes a great utility trailer for hauling & camping. Designed to operate on all types of roads, cross-country terrain, and in all weather conditions. The pintle style hitch allows for greater hitch rotation and maneuverability. Includes heavy-duty Pintle Hitch w/ 2" Receiver and vertical adjustment plate, so you can dial in your hitch height. I tow this thing easily behind my 4-Door Jeep; you barely know its there!
- 24 Volt System 9 -(24volt to 12 volt conversion possible)
- Heavy Duty Pintle Hitch w/ 2" Receiver and vertical adjustment plate ($150 value)
- Functional Locking Support / Foot - works
- Magnetic / temporary 12 Volt light system included
- full vinyl tarp top in good condition
- removable, light-weight fiberglass Vertical Slats (will not rot)
- Functional Tailgate and rear-swing gate
- Hand-brake levers with Dump-able back: allows ATV loading!
- Transferable Title: you pay fees
- Permanent License Vin Possible (stays w/trailer; no need for plate! - Msg. for details)
- Military tires w/plenty of tread.
1,340 lbs trailer Weight, 1,500 lbs. capacity, designed to transport Field Supplies and Field Support to remote areas for Troop Support.
I started to scrape and prime, with a little more work and some paint it could look really great with your jeep. My plans for the trailer included Rhino-lining the inside, a 12-volt conversion, an axle swap (to match the jeep 5 bolt pattern, and a Trailer tongue box for storing supplies... but I lost my job awhile back so I had to scrap my plans. I hate to sell it, but money is tight and it has to go. I would like to sell this to someone local. I live in Jefferson Louisiana. $900. Msg me for more details.

Is that a vinyl or canvas cover? Pic of rear and in the bed? Send me details of license plate you mentioned. I am familiar with registering a trailer permanently (no registration renewals). Is that what you mean?

Don't worry about more pics if you haven't gotten them. I found a green (more my color for my Jeep) trailer in Hattiesburg I'm going to get next week. Thanks for sparking my interest. I think this trailer is gonna be a useful item for me.
