Rock Island 1911 or S&W XD40. Really depends on if I open carry or conceal.

I have a Rock Island 1911 (the tac model with the full-length accessory rail on the dust cover) - great pistol, especially for the money!

I had one of the older rock islands, and that thing was a hunk of junk. Decided to rebuild
Everything from the frame using mostly Wilson combat. I've never heard anything bad about the newer ones though

How do you like the VP9? I have a P30s v3, and the VP9 looks almost identical to it, but in a striker configuration.
