1984 cj-7 with the 4.2 and five speed died on the way home need help
I have a 2013 jkur but my wife has fallen in love with. So I needed to find another jeep for me and had always wanted a Cj so found one on Craigslist in anchorage ,but I live Fairbanks about 380 miles no big deal right . I got the jeep drove it around for 2 days then on the way home doing about 55 she just died on and I am not getting any spark the wires and cap and rotor look new but I wanted to know how to the parts before I just go buy them ! Thanks for the help

No spark eh? Hmmm battery see if it will hold a charge if it does check the alternator to see if its charging. From there it would be coil, cap and rotor, wires, and plugs. It is usually one of the first 3 in my experience.
Don't forget to check battery cables for corrosion and grounds for tightness.
