those who have NEVER wheeled/owned one or seen one wheeled should just stay out of the conversation, obviously you don't have a clue

I think Jdub33 was referring to the fact that the Liberty in the picture had a "Rubicon" decal on the hood, not necessarily that anything other than a factory Rubicon is a poser.

Well that liberty is running solid axles and lockers and is just as capable as a rubi sooooooo. It is in fact running front and rear rubi axles from a jk with a rubi 4:1 tcase. Diesel engine that produces 175go with 325 tq so I think it could be called a rubi

It's like putting Yenko stickers on a 68 Camaro. The souped-up stocker might kick the crap out of a Yenko's ass, but that still doesn't make it a Yenko. If a person has put this amount of time and effort into a vehicle, why imply that the Rubicon sticker adds any value to it? Be proud of what you've done, I say.

At the same time that you *shouldn't* put the stickers on it, let's think about the other side of the coin. The 2003 Rubicon (the first and original one.......I've got one in the driveway) doesn't have a trail rated badge on it. So does that mean I can't do 19" of water fording with it?

Who says BDS is trying to increase value of it? And you're answer to the yenko question is that u must not pay attention to the muscle car world cause there is a multi million dollar business on making clone yenkos, cobras, gt 500/350, hemi cudas u name it and guess what there worth alot

I am not sure why there are so many liberty haters. I had a liberty before getting a jk. It was great offroad and a good all around vehicle. If the 4 door wrangler didnt exist I would probably still have one.

Not a wrangler, but this dude kept up the last time we went out. Little more respect after that.
