Jeep Cherokee first U.S. vehicle to make Japan’s top-ten car list
Overall, the Jeep Cherokee came in eighth place. According to data from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, 3.7 million new vehicles sold in Japan over the first nine months of 2014. Only six percent of those sales went to automakers based outside the Land of the Rising Sun.
For the Cherokee to receive such an accolade, I think that plan for Jeep’s global domination we've been hearing about is well on its way.

Who cares? I know it sure as shit didn't hit US's top 10. Hell, I'd be surprised if it were in the top 50! That vehicle is an absolute disgrace to the Cherokee name. They should have at least named it something different. Sorry, I've owned multiple XJs and this new one just upsets me to no end.
