I loaned my 2016 Cherokee Trailhawk V6/Tow Package to my mother and father who drove it on vacation. They got 27 MPG consistently on the highways, we were all very impressed. They liked it so much that they are now thinking about buying my mother one to replace her aging 2003 Grand Cherokee that has 110K trouble free miles on it. I'll reiterate.... 27.? MPG hand calculated from every tank of fuel for a week. That was awesome in the opinion of my father and me. It has 15K miles on it, so it's not breaking in and tight at this point, so that may help a bit. Great vehicle, never intended to be a Wrangler, but awesome at what it was intended to do... DD, vacations,inclement weather and mild trails.
