Did the swap today. The rear JK Rubi springs netted 2.75" lift.
Front springs were a different story. The JK Rubi springs (on the right) were actually shorter than the stock TJ X front springs (middle). The springs on the left are OME 615 light duty springs I had on my JK. They were replaced not too long after I had them on. I had hung on to them, and decided to use them for the front springs on the TJ X. They netted 2.75" also. I do not have an after photo of the fronts installed, I will add them tomorrow.
As far as the shocks go, they work fine. I believe the JK Rubi shocks are a bit more firm than the Sahara or Sport shocks, and I can tell. But they are not harsh at all, just a bit more firm. If a set of Sport shocks come available, I may swap those, as it is an easy job.
Overall, I am happy with the amount of lift, and the ride and handling. Not a bad lift for $62 and a few hours spent. You would, however, need more than 2 door Rubicon springs to lift the front of a 6 cyl. TJ.

There was someone online saying that the jk coils would give the tj 2"all around but I knew that didn't seem quite right. I was with you- the fronts were just an upgrade from coils with 200k miles on them.
How much did you have to "adjust" the rear coils? The front bottom bushings weren't too bad to replace?

By the 'bottom front bushings' I guess you mean the shock bushings in the front...on those, I used Liquid Wrench on the JK center sleeves, then pressed those out with a vice. I did the same to the TJ bar pins, lubed those, then pressed them out with a vice. I then put the bar pins into the JK shock bottom bushing with the same vice. It was not a big job. I did round off the corners of the bar pins before pressing them into the JK bushings.
I think those that got '2" all around" from using JK springs probably had a 4 cyl. TJ, which might make sense.

Update-
Lift worked too well, I ended up with vibrations in rear drive shaft. I put the stock springs and shocks back on. Anyone interested in the JK rear springs, OME front springs, and JK Rubi shocks to lift their TJ, pm me an offer. I netted 2.75" of lift.
I will probably try a BB with shocks.

You need a t-case drop with that much lift on the TJ. Others elect to go with a MML but I had to trim my fan shroud when I went that route. Another option is the SYE on the driveshaft.

I considered adjustable rear upper control arms to correct the pinion angle, but opted for less lift instead. I am only running 31" tires.

I have a set of rubicon jk springs in my garage sitting rite next to a project tj. What would the rear jk springs have to be stretched to fit on the tj? Does anyone have specs for tj springs or am I going to have to take them off to find out?
