aftermarket unit
Newbie here with hopefully a stupid question.If I replace the original Navi DVD with aftermarket will it still allow the use of the in steering wheel controls?

I went with a Pioneer Nav Head Unit. Yes there is a Wiring harness option that allows the use of the OE Steering Controls. For my Pioneer the part number is Pac rp4ch11.
