822 midland mount
I was asked how my 822 was mounted . Pretty simple it cost like 4 bucks . Just a cheap piece of straight bracket from tractor supply co. i think it was 1.99 or somthing and a screw , nut and cb clip mount . You can Just put it in a vise or anything AND MAKE A OFFSETT
using the holes that are already in the strap as holes to utilize for mounting to dash and the clip as hanger for the midland 822 . No expensive $ 40 dollar mounts needed . I used the screw hole from factory on grab handle that holds on the trim with a sheet rock style screw tip , it works for me . Im sure theres other alternatives . (its just back to back L bend with no angels required. Just turn the bracket after its mounted to your grab bar to the desired location and mount your clip to the strap.
Hope that the pics help ,

no problem
Hope it works out . The hardest part is finding the right length screw for the grab bar . It Beats laying it on the console or passenger seat . I really like the midland 822 works great with out the consumed space of a bulky radio and its portable
