It changes every time.
The "unofficial" wheeler channels are 4 (4WD) and 16 (4x4).
Truckers use 19, emergency channel is channel 9. Stay away from channel 6 though, you'll never understand them and they're all running illegal systems and transmitting around the country. Our group usually just runs whatever the date is. Today we would run channel 20 for example.
If you're trying to talk to people around town, most jeeps don't have their radios on where I am. So I still to channel 19 or listen to the weather if I turn it on.
