All the clubs here still use CB.

I have one with weather radio on it too... so we end up using it quite a bit.

Awesome Mark. I was wondering if that was CB for you. I was just out in Anza last weekend with a ton of other rigs. Ok. It was really like 10 others. Only one of those had a CB and he didn't want to use it because everyone, but me, was using ham.

Well one of these days Mark when we hit a run together I will look forward to using the CB. Haha!

I attended the Jeep Jamboree earlier this month and CB's are mandatory as one of the requirements. They are great for trail running.

Our club requires a CB at min. for safety reasons. We need to communicate with people in the group about trail hazards. We run both CB and HAM, our HAM freq. is used for a working channel to communicate between the lead Jeep and tail Jeep and other HAMs in-between to keep the train moving. CB is used for chatter between everyone.

Toys for Tots run tomorrow, meet at Fiesta Island tomorrow morning around 8am. we will caravan from fiesta island to the uss midway to deliver toys, should have close to 100 Jeeps

What channel do most off road groups use?
