I've had mine for a few months and notice that when I hit to ptt on mic that it skips to different channel. Anyone know how to correct this?

Thanks...I guess I need to clean out the center console as it's full of rando stuff

Mounted my 980 like this in the center console. Still access USB and power source plug/socket

Nice! I seriously didn't think it would fit. Did you have to modify your console?

Yes. That inner console box is separate from the outside shell of the center console. Cut a small area of the bottom out so the CB slid in from the bottom. Then trimmed out the top a bit so my fat fingers could turn knobs easier.
Warning: It's a PIA to get that center console out.
