Default Finding Appropriate CB Power

I'm having a problem finding appropriate CB power near the roof of my 2012 JKU Rubi. Where are others stealing power from?? Do I need to come all the way down to the 12 Volt DC ignition power?

Thanks

Believe it or not the best way is to go straight to the battery, both positive and negative. Cuts down on engine noise coming through.

I didn't mount mine up by the roof, but it doesn't much matter.. I ran a dedicated switched power using an open slot in the TIPM.. Check here...

Really, but then you can't use your ignition as an on/off switch?

Most people don't WANT to use the ignition as an on/off switch in this case, because there are plenty if times on the trail where you want to be able to use your CB while the vehicle is off...just a thought!

Run it straight to the battery. You are better off all around. Be sure to out a fuse in your red wire somewhere very close to the battery.

Remove your passenger side dash panel. Look it up. It's easy. There is a little foam filled hole near the passenger door that will make perfect access to the battery. Get creative from that point forward. With the dash off, you have lots of options when running your wire.

Yea I really doubt you will run your battery dead by leaving the CB on by mistake... but I could be wrong
