Hey all, decided paying nearly $100 for an overhead bar was too much so I made my own. Cost under $20 Used 3/4x1.5" rectangular tubing and 1.5" flat bar. CB is attached to the footmans loop. Overhead bar is for the Yaesu 2900. -Robert K6DTF Click image for larger version

one small sheet metal bolt at each end. Just enough to keep it from moving around.

Did you see my jeep? I did that about 4 years ago. It is also a great grab bar to use to get inside. Careful wheeling, can cause your forehead hurt. All from experience of course
