MOBILE HAM RIG Complete!
Well, finally got everything installed how I want it and now it's finally time to quit adding stuff and spend a bit more time using it!
WRANGLER JK HAM RIG
Now includes: YAESU FT-817ND with BHI DSP module, LDG Z-817H auto-tuner, SAINSONIC MX-P817 HF amp, MICROWAVE MODULES 144/100S 2M amp, PALSTAR 2000AM SWR/Power meter, YAESU MH-36E8J DTMF MIC, YAESU MLS-200-M10 external speaker, DX-WIRE diapole and WONDERWAND.

First report and it's working pretty well. Need to get a cable made up and a switching box to alternate between the 2 amps but otherwise all good! Have to say this 3M Dual Lock is worth it's weight in gold. It makes installing a rig like this semi-permanently incredibly easy and solid as anything!

Just curios what the coax is plugged into; is it the antenna tuner? Also wonder if you've considered putting a different connector on the end of the coax so it is compatible with the other device, thus shortening the connector allowing better viewing of the HF rig display?

Nice! Now I'm thinking about a rear station configuration! I am considering a drawer in the back of the Jeep it wouldn't take much to install the radio equipment there. Especially for security when going topless!
