Passing large part of coax screwhead through firewall
Need to run the coax cable for a cb from the front mount antenna into the cab. 2014 automatic. Would any areas big enough to fit the large coax end through. Someone mentioned somewhere related to the automatic shifter. I know I could by the FME or fire ring but currently have a good coax I can use.

Otherwise, the side of the dash is big enough as seen
here.

Depending on the type of connector, the larger outside ring and insulator can "unscrew" from the center section, leaving a much smaller part to send through the grommet. Try turning the outer ring while pulling away from the cable end and see if the connector seperates. If not, consider just soldering on a new connector after running through the grommet.
As far as location, the sPod instructions are about the best and easiest place to run that.

Thanks guys. Today purchased coax with FME I think it's called. So slightly bigger than the coax cable itself. But not nearly the size of the screw which screw into the CN. Should make life easier.
